So last night I was talking to my friend DS and I was complaining about being bored. So she said, "Draw something, Sarah! Now!"

And I was all, "Well what should I draw?"

And she said, "Zelgadis and Amelia! From Slayers!"

And it had been so long since I'd drawn them, that I was all over that. I started it right away, and I absolutely love it.

It's not Slayers style, because as much as I LOVE that show, the style is really super-cutesy with the eyes half the size of their whole head and all that. And I added a few little things to their costumes, cause I have a huuuuge thing for the little details.

Oh god, his hair is SO HARD to draw. I spent more time on that than any other part of the picture. Blah.

But Slayers is old-school goodness. I luff. :D

Niiiice, man! I can see why you were anxious to finish this :D The blue tones are just lovely, you did as well with those as you did with all the red stuff you were doing.

And yeah, Slayers rawks but this style suits them better for a still pic. Amelia's pretty :)

Also, Zel looks so badass and you did spectacularly on his hair, it curls just right!

I almost made this one red too! XD Then I was like, "Waaaiiiit a second, Sarah. Back off here. Use your brain muscles."

And so I went blue instead. :)

Ah, finally you did something about Slayers... and my favorite couple. I like your style because it's personal. Nice details in their clothes, the rune letters fit them, although you could have put Amelia's belt, the one from novels illustrations, which is very detailed ;)
