I recently read a fanTAStic book called Geekomancy by Michael R. Underwood, and it is brilliant! I loved every moment of it! The characters were great, the magic was every geek's wet dream, and the whole thing was Spot The Geek Reference turned up to eleven. I loved it so freaking hard! And you can tell that I really really enjoyed it because I actually drew a picture for it! I don't do that with a lot of novels (only three to date, and one of those was a commission).

This was a super fun picture to work on, cause I got to try to work in all the fun little details and fiddly bits. I highly recommend y'all check it out if you're into comics, sci-fi, or Joss Whedon at all.

Kind of a shame it's not paperback or hardcover since the only other way to read the book is with a Kindle.

I know, that does kinda stink. If you don't have a Kindle, though, you can download a Kindle-reading program for your phone or computer for free through Amazon.

Hah, they actually used one in the book for a second, but I couldn't figure out how to work it into the picture - everyone's hands were already full of blasters and lightsabers and steampunk rifles and junk
