He was a nice enough guy, but the most we had in common was that we liked to watch anime and movies (he ended up showing me all of the Evangelion series and some of Farscape and I showed him 10th Kingdom in return). He asked me if I wanted to go steady after... 3 weeks or so. I panicked and told him the same you said in panel 2 ;^^ He didn't start crying, but he did think he'd scared me off. We managed to remain friends, at least until I lost contact with him, when he moved to England.
