All of these actually happened to me. I have had customers ask me if they can get a chili dog at a comic book store. Brilliant.

So I'm getting a webcomic strip started, called Kastle Comics. It's gonna be all about the comic shop I work at and stuff. This is a preview, it's the first strip I drew. I'm getting a Keenspace page set up to host everything on, and as soon as I get the web address set up and the site going, I'll link to it on my main dA page.

I'm still figuring out how I'm doing this, so the first few weeks may be a little shaky. But gimme some time, and I think this could have potential.

Unfortunately, I don't think I'm a very funny person. So if something isn't funny or it doesn't work, I need people to let me know.

And um oops in the third panel. I'll fix that before it goes on the website.

Go with thin speech bubbles. It'll save you space and ink. =D

I'm already starting to like this. I hope you can keep up with the update schedule, Nya~! =D

I think my favorite thing is the tattoo piercing guy asking about balloon animals. :D I like this! I can honestly say I am excited for this upcoming win of yours. ^_^

I'd make the speech bubbles lines a bit less thick though. I don't know why, but for some reason it bugs me. But that may just be my Tamly weirdness.

See, and that's a Sarah thing. When I hand-draw my comics, I like thick word bubbles. When I do word bubbles digitally, I like really thin word bubbles. Dunno why, really.

There a guy up the street from me who owns a comic book store, he always sends people to other comic book store when they try to sell their comics.

I think the other comic shop in our area does that, too. I know I can remember at least one guy saying "Well the other store told me to come here," or something like that.

The comic book industry is a messy place :)

I think it will be good.
hell if people like the crap William Street makes for adult swim. I'm sure you can make something ppl will find funny, just don't over criticize your jokes or you might try to hard and mess up a perfectly good joke.

I have these old comics from about 10 years ago, how much would you give me for them? What?!?!?! Only that much?!?!?!? Rip-off artists.

Bet you have a lot of those. I know I did at gamestop, except with 5 year old copies of Madden.

Haha, you have no idea. Actual phone conversation:

Person: Hi, I was wondering if you buy comics.

Me: Yes sir, but we're really only looking at comics from the 70's or earlier.

Person: Well I have a bunch of really old comics. They're at least ten years old.

Me: Sorry, sir, we're not interested in buying anything from the 90's, we got plenty of those.

Person: But these are really rare ones. I bet you don't have these ones.

Me: We're really not interested...

Person: That's okay, I'll bring them by the store anyway.

Me: But we won't--

Person: Is Wednesday okay?

Me: No, Wednesday is a bad day for--

Person: I'll be back Wednesday.

Me: *slam face into counter*
