My second entry for *telophase's AutoShoujo Cover Art contest.

The trick is, you have to use this random generator to come up with a random shoujo anime title, come up with a story concept to go along with it, and draw a DVD or manga cover for your idea.

I ended up with Sword of the Judo Mages, and for a while there, I was stumped. What the hell? Judo doesn't use swords. It's all bare-fisted stuff and throwing people around and junk.

So eventually, I decided that the Sword had to be a person, not a thing. But even then, I still had no idea what the hell I was doing. Even as I was drawing the picture and all these characters and junk, I was like, "I still have nooo idea what the story here is!"

(Also, Jian and Gim are both Chinese words for "sword" cause I'm a loser like that.)

So, compared to my previous entry for this contest, I think this one is a better picture and cover, but the other one has a more original story concept.

Kind of reminds me of the Avatar except it's centered around Japanese martial arts and magic instead of Chinese martial arts and bending.
