Commissions
I AM NOT ACCEPTING PAYPAL. Several people apparently don't read the entire journal, or skip over the part about how to give me my money. I CAN'T USE PAYPAL. Sorry.
Pricing
Here are the options available for you to choose from. If what you're thinking of doesn't fall into one of these categories, just talk to me and we'll work something out.
Sketch Card (black and white) - $3
Sketch Card (color) - $4
(With sketch cards, the more you get, the better the deal is! The $3 or $4 includes the card AND shipping! And after the first card, it's only $1 for every additional card! So you could get one card for $3, two for $4, three for $5, etc.)
Blueline and Pencil Sketch - $10
Black and White Inked Drawing - $20
Inked with Digital Tones - $25
Color Character Design - $25
Full Color Picture (chunky lines) - $35
Full Color Picture (fine lines) (1-2 people) - $60
Full Color Picture (fine lines) (3+ people) - $70
Comic Strips/Pages - price depends on number of pages/panels/characters etc.
AGAIN. NOT TAKING PAYPAL. SORRY.
What You Get
When you commission a picture, first thing you'll get shown is a pencil sketch, or the Photoshop equivalent thereof. If you approve of the sketch, I'll move onto the final product.
After it's all finished, you'll be emailed a high-resolution copy of the picture to print out or use as you please, as long as you credit me if you post it on like Live Journal or MySpace or whatevs.
If you want me to email you a 8.5"x11" print on glossy photo paper, it'll be an extra $5 for printing and shipping costs. I can potentially print larger copies, but that'll be on a subject-by-subject basis, and pricing will vary.
Payment
Unfortunately, as I said several times, at the moment, I can't do PayPal because for the life of me I can't log into my account. I can't figure out the right combination of emails and passwords to get into any of my accounts, and I can't even remember which account is attached to my current bank account. So, no PayPal.
However, I will accept checks, post office money orders, or concealed cash. Also, you can send money online through Western Union with your credit card. I don't need payment right away, but you will not be sent the final picture until it reaches me.
NO PAYPAL.
Examples of Artwork
Just to give you an idea of what you'll be getting when you commission a picture from me.
Blueline and Pencil Sketch
I don't have any examples of this in my gallery. It's basically a sketch done in blue pencil, then cleaned up with tight graphite pencil lines.
Black and White Inked Drawing
Inked with Digital Tones
Color Character Design
Full Color Picture (chunky lines)
Full Color Picture (fine lines) (1-2 people)
Full Color Picture (fine lines) (3+ people)
Content
This shouldn't really have to be said, but there are limits on content. I have nothing against drawing naked people or violence, but just make sure it's not over the top, and nothing blatantly pornographic.
I'll draw fanart characters, original characters, generic nobody whatevers. Just let me know. If you want me to draw an anime or video game character, be prepared to supply me with images or screenshots in case I haven't heard of them. If you want me to draw an original character, either give me a description of their appearance (hair color, eye color, clothing design, etc) and a BASIC (as in maybe one sentence long) personality description, or show me the artwork someone else has done, so I know what the character looks like.
In Closing...
So, here's hoping this works out. If you have any questions or want to request a commission, I suggest emailing me at ninja.shira@gmail.com. You could send me a devNote, but I would prefer email.
Thanks mucho ahead of time for anyone that takes me up on this, it'll totally help me out.
Allow me to reiterate one more time. I CAN'T TAKE PAYPAL AT THIS TIME. SORRY.

My Tumblr and my Society6
So I've decided to start a Tumblr. I figure, I may not have time to do a webcomic or a full comic book project or whatever right now, but I can do one little doodle every day over my lunch breaks at work. So that's just what I'm going to do! Every day, you'll get a new little doodle from me! Sometimes it'll be comic book stuff or TV show stuff or just random whatever stuff. And the original artwork for every doodle I post will be available for purchase for $30 (no shipping fees!). Check it out, and feel free to follow my Tumblr!
EDIT: I also finally set up a Society6 page, where you can buy prints and stuff of my artwork. You can even get so
Taking the Plunge
So... I'm thinking of taking the plunge...
I'm pretty confident I'm going to get hired for a part-time contract graphic design position for a local marketing company, and to do that, I'd have to quit my full-time job. It would mean a LOT less money, but I would be doing something that I really really WANT to be doing.
Rather than get a second part-time job to supplement the smaller paychecks, I think I'm going to try full-time freelancing. I'm super nervous and super scared because if this doesn't work out, I'll probably end up getting evicted for not paying rent, but this has been something I've been wanting to do for absolutely forever, a
What the Heck Happened, Interwebs?
So I don't know WHAT just happened, but my inbox has been exploding all over itself the last couple of days. Usually that only happens if someone posted one of my comics to reddit or 9gag or something, but I haven't been able to find any new evidence of me anywhere. What the heck happened out on the internets while I wasn't looking??
In other news, I'm trying to get arts done more often, but free time is scarce. That being said, I'm back to drawing my Fluffernutters webcomic, so check back on that like every Wednesday for a new comic strip.
I'm also working on a new comic book series. I met pulp fiction writer Sean Taylor several years ago

How much for a digital line-art drawing, no colors or shading? I can pay you in class this week if you want. ^-^
